∙ 14y agoWith engine warmed up, running and air filter assembly removed, notice the fuel spray coming from the injectors. You should see a nice umbrella shaped spray coming from each injector. If the spray is dripping you may have injector problems.
Also, the CMFI unit for this motor has a long history of failure, leaking. I have replaced my CMFI unit, twice. Rough idle and a long pressure fill (turning the motor over before it finally pressurizes to start) are the key indicators that the unit is bad.

∙ 14y agoI am not a mechanic but it sounds like it is with your fuel injectors. They are either real dirty, clogged, not working at all or your ECU is not sending the injectors a signal to open. Good luck
well, the 93 has a spider injection unit in the intake manifold. ten bolts and a gasket...
it should
unleaded, 89 or higher for a vortec.
It could be several things. First does your fuel pump run when you turn your key to the on position? It should run for about 2 seconds and you should be able to hear it. If it doesn't that's probably your culprit. If it runs you could have gas line freeze or a clogged fuel filter possibly clogged or dirty injectors.
4.3 liter V6 vortec
check cam or crank sensor
Thank You
the simple answer is YES. though, a 94 would be either a t.b.i. system or early vortec. if it is a vortec, the swap shouldn't require a p.c.m. reflash- however if your 94 is a t.b.i. you will need to change the intake and fuel delivery systems to handle the 60 p.s.i. operating pressure for the vortec engine.
The 1997 came standard with the 4.3 Liter Vortec V6.
57 - 61 psi for the 95 jimmy 4.3 vortec so it is probable the same
The fuel filter may be clogged.
