The answer below is likely GM products. While "most" V8's are ordered that way, NOT Fords. This is the diagram I found and it worked for me.(E250) Ford engines are numbered as follows: (4) (8) (3) (7) (2) (6) (1) (5) FRONT most v-8's were numbered front to back starting on drivers side 1,3,5,7 pas side front to back 2,4,6,8 firering order is another question
1 , 2 , 3 , 4 from front to rear on the passenger side of the engine and 5, 6 , 7 , 8 from front to rear on the drivers side of the engine
The Triton is just a modular V8 Ford puts in trucks. Only difference is that the Triton has a feature where if it runs out of coolant it will shut down 4 of the cylinders leaving you with 4 and enough time to make a short trip home/to a mechanic to fix the issue
