I have an 01 mountaineer and had heater issue. My heater stoped working. I replaced the heter and air controll unit in the dash and it worked fine. However!!!!!!! I did some work on my suv, installed amp, spkrs ect. In doing so I unpluged my battery overnight. When I was done installing audio equt. I noticed my heater stoped workig again. All I could hear is a clicking sound in glove compartmet.be fore replacing dash unit I decided to figure it out on my own as to why this keeps happining.the mountaineer has a kill mecanizem behind the glove comp. Pull it down an youll see a small black box with 2 wires pluged into it.unplug it, dissconect the battery. After an hour or so, hook up battery an start the car. Plug in the box till the clicking stops and unplug it and leave it. I tryed it over and over to make sure I wasnt crazy......i dont know why, but it worked everytime. Hope this helpd you.
No because there won't be enough heat in a house to make the water warm!
you probably have a blocked heater tap. the heater cools down and there isn't enough coolant flow through the heater tap to keep it warm
Engine will overheat or not get warm enough. As in the heater will only put out warm air. When you suspect that the thermostat may be defective, just replace it. Very inexpensive part.Engine will overheat or not get warm enough. As in the heater will only put out warm air. When you suspect that the thermostat may be defective, just replace it. Yes. If the thermostat is not staying closed long enough for the engine to warm up adequately, you will not get heated coolant into the heater core and the heater will not blow warm air. Change the thermostat for a 195 and you should get plenty of heat. It could also be as simple as not having enough coolant. worst case senerio would be a bad heater core.
They may as long as the surrounding air is warm enough and the water chemistry is to their liking.
if the heater does not blow out warm air change the setting.
If you need a heater core, the one you currently have would be leaking. If the car is over heating or not getting warm enough, think thermostat.
Probably a bad thermostat - stuck open so the water temperature in the engine block doesn't get hot enough to make the heater warm.
heater on at idle and will not blow warm air. when moving it blows the warm air from the vents. what will cause this
A vehicle block heater's main purpose is to warm an engine enough to increase the car's starting speed. This is especially useful in winter to get a car started.
Isn't a heater supposed to blow warm air?
Usually not. If toilet has a mixing valve going to it so warm water fills toilet tank and toilet runs constantly, then enough warm water could leak out through toilet to possibly have an effect on water heater.
