Depends, Is it blowing air at all? If not then could be the fan, fan motor, or an electrical problem possibly with the heater controls.
If it is just blowing cold then your going to want to check the heater coil, on that truck I believe it is on the passenger side under dash/floorboard. you may smell anti-freeze if so the heater coil is the problem.
I was told it could be bad fuel pump.
Check your coolant. Is it thick and gunky?
wont kickdown into passing gear
Do you have automatic locking hubs on the front axles?
Bad temperature sending unit? Bad gauge?
Bad transmission? Bent shift linkage?
Check your crank shaft sensor
try the bend door
Blown fuse. Or it could be anything from loose wires to bad modules..
i had the same problem .. i got frion and put it in and it worked fine
