What year of Expedition ?

if older model (I think 2002 or 2003 or older) is passenger side airbag circuit malfunctioned.

if newer than 2002 or 2003 (Sorry not sure exact year they changed code), it means Driver side pretentionor (Seat belt retractor).

There is small bomb in seat belt Retractor to make passenger tight fit to seat when airbag deploy.

if something is wrong with seat belt retractor bomb (pretensionor), airbag itself may may not work to avoid injury by airbag.
