can you swap 3.5 into 2.5 on 2002 nssan altima
yes you can swap a 2.5 in to 2.7 but u will loose some power from
This will not work. The 2002 pcm has three plugs and an external tcm. The 2005 has four plug ins and an internal tcm. The wiring harnesses are completely different.
Vvl swap
Yes
It will probably be more work than it's worth. The computers aren't compatable.
NO You cannot just swap the engines. Computer will need to be replaced as well as much of the engine electrical system. The transmission housings are also different.
The Swap - 2002 TV is rated/received certificates of: Australia:M Germany:12 UK:15
No vehicle or engine type
yes because you can swap a h23 transmission onto an h22 engine
I added a link that may have some info for you. This is for the J-body. (Cavalier/Sunbird) but a lot of it will be the same for you. Most guys on the site that have done the swap will tell you it's not worth the headache. The 3400 and now 3500 swap puts out almost as much power, the engine weighs less, and the swap is much easier than the 3.8. The few that have done the 3.8 SC swap can't get the power to the ground. It looks cool but is fairly useless in these light cars. You can also turbo charge the 3400 if you want even more power.
It would help to know what engine you're trying to swap in. Quite a difference between trying to swap in a newer engine of the same model and trying to swap in, say, a Chevy small block.
