I would suggest taking your Malibu into your nearest GM dealership, and see if they can fix it. I have replaced the right back door lock on my previous Ford Taurus 2003. I can tell you one think that may be wrong, and it is your actuator, and it probably needs to be replaced from being overused. If the dealership can't help you, and you are well mechanically inclined, I would suggest that you should try to fix it yourself. It is very easy. I got mine from the junk yard and it came out of the same vehicle. Junk yards will be way cheaper than the dealership, and also they may be able to install it for you, all you need to do is ask, and they probably would.
Purchase a Haynes Manual and they can detail the troubleshooting. It can be bought from a parts store or bookstore. They have one just for your car.
Electric doors?? Are you talking about door locks? If so, even though they are electric, you can still operate them manually. Disconnect the power to the door locks and they are then manual.
Blocked or damaged lock or key
whats the problem?
pull the fuse
Built-in electric oven Smeg SC399X have the best kind of door for optimum viewing and also comes with safety locks it has a triple glazed removable cooler door, automatic oven switch-off when door is open and has a removable inner door glasses .
I had all four of my door locks stop working. I was told it was the actuators and for $250.00 per actuator (my only local Ford dealership) I could have them fixed. Back to manual for me.
please I have a 1998 Saturn coupe SC 2 both power door locks out the same time 3 weeks ago. Is the fuse box for door locks under the hood or in the auto. next question could it be the switch on the door behind the lock itself, but why both out the same time? thank you very much.
check the door lock master switch usually that is the problem
The dealer can update the body computer to fix that problem.
Try checking the fuses.
