It is on the fuel pump sending unit that is inside of the fuel tank.
fuel pump isn't sending any gas to rail /check relay first then fuel pump at pump / that should let u no whats going on
On 2001 models the fuel filter is part of the fuel pump relieve the fuel pressure disconnect negative battery cable remove the back seat and take fuel pump cover off to get to fuel pump disconnect the electrical connector from fuel pump/fuel sending unit disconnect the high pressure hose and the fuel return hose from the fuel pump remove the fuel pump mounting flange screws lift the fuel pump and fuel pump or the fuel level sending unit separate the two units
CAUTION: Some models are equipped with anti-theft-radio make sure you have the activation code before disconnecting battery * Relieve the fuel system pressure * Disconnect the negative battery cable * Disconnect the electrical connector from the fuel pump/sending unit * Disconnect the high pressure hose and the fuel return hose from the fuel pump * Remove the fuel pump mounting flange screws * Lift the fuel pump and the fuel level sending unit as a single assembly from the tank * Seperate the fuel pump from the sending unit
The fuel pump is in the fuel tank. You'll have to drain the tank. Unhook the fuel lines and electrical lines. Unbolt the straps that hold the tank on. There will be a lock ring to hold the fuel pump in the tank. Take this off and remove the unit. Unless you buy the sending unit and fuel pump unit as a single piece, you'll have to remove and replace the pump from the sending unit. Install in reverse order.
It is located in the fuel tank. Relieve the fuel pressure and then....remove the fuel tank from the vehicle (after removing the fuel lines). The fuel pump is integrated with the sending unit so it is removed as a unit.
Bad fuel pump?or bad relay, when you first turn on the key,the pump should purge fuel to start for around 5-10 seconds then when you car starts there is a oil/fuel sending unit that screws into the block behind the distributor, this will allow your fuel pump to work once your motor has oil pressure,if you have no or low oil pressure the sending unit will not supply 12 volts to the pump, the relay works when you first turn the ignition switch on then the sending unit takes over
low oil will not but low oil pressure will. the fuel pump runs in conjunction with the oil pressure sending unit. if pressure is below a set psi the fuel pump will not turn on.
That would be attached on top of the fuel pump/sending unit assembly.
The fuel filter. The fuel pressure regulator. The electrical plug/wiring at the fuel pump. The fuel pump relay located in the glove box. The oil pressure sending unit.
No. The fuel sending unit detects the amount of fuel in the tank ... the fuel pump actually delivers the fuel to the engine.
The fuel tank pressure sensor is located on the fuel sending unit/pump. Located in the fuel tank under the rear seat. should be on the left side of the tank. Pretty sure you cant replace it seperatly....but not totally sure? I think you have to replace the whole sending unit/fuel pump.
