I know the 1998 to 2002 camaro z28, ss have same ls1 engine as the corvette ls1. Only differets is horsepower. A pc program can change the horsepower to both camaro and corvette
Well depends on how much work you want to do. The engine will fit but the mounting locations are different because 98 was the first year of the LS1 in the Camaro. You are better off with an LS1 it is a much better engine anyways! Well depends on how much work you want to do. you dont have a ls1 you have a lt1. the ls1 was in 98-02 camaro
there is no such thing as a 1994 ls1. the ls1 didnt come out until 1998. in 1994 they had the LT1 which would have had 240 crank hp The LS1 motor actually first came out in 1997 for the C5 Corvette. The 1994 F-bodies with the LT1 were rated at 275hp at the flywheel.
yes you can but if you can put an ls1 why not put an LS2? get close to 500 horse power... if you can afford it
Not electronic. But mechanical yes. NOTE: a 1996 camaro has the LT1. A 1998 Camaro has the LS1. A lot of things are different.
The LS1 and LT1 designations are for the engine not the transmission. A 1993 Camaro Z28 would have originally been fitted with an LT1 engine. Available transmissions behind the LT1 would have been the Borg Warner T-56 (manual), or the 4L60E (automatic).
There was no LS1 Corvette until 1997
rated at about 320 but it's more like 350
305 at the crank for camaro and trans am and 345 for the corvette
no
because its a ls1
