The 2004 Ford Mondeo is equipped with a timing belt for its engines. It's important to replace the timing belt at recommended intervals to avoid potential engine damage. Always consult the owner's manual or a professional mechanic for specific maintenance guidelines related to your vehicle.
they are a chain not a belt!!!!!!!!!!!!!
it has a cam chain
my 2000 model doesnearly all cars do, apart from the odd few that run off a chain
The 2004 BMW models typically do not use a cambelt; instead, most are equipped with a timing chain, which generally requires less frequent maintenance than a cambelt. However, it’s important to check the specific engine model, as some variations may have different requirements. Regular maintenance and inspection are recommended to ensure optimal performance.
Ford bantam 1.3 Xl 2004 timing chain or cambel?
If it is a 1.9 td it is a cambelt. If it either a 2.0 citd or a 2.2 citd engine should be a camchain. If you dont know engine size look under bonnett at cover of cambelt/chain area and if it is plastic it will be a belt but if it is alloy it is a chain. Hope this helps
you usually don't.. they are per Ford a 10 year interval
Never - it doesn't have a belt. It does however have a chain, which should last the life of the car.
