some do 4 wheel disc brakes came on the se model
It would depend if your car has 4 wheel disc brake or only the front (2) has disc brakes. You would have one rotor for each wheel with disc brakes.
All C3 Corvettes (1968 - 1982) came with factory 4 wheel disc brakes.
I don't remember 1985 Chevy 1/2 ton pickupshaving rear disc brakes. It should be a drum brake in the rear and disc brakes in front.
The DX and LX models with the 4 cylinder engine have front disc and rear drum brakes. The LX and EX models with the V6 engine have four wheel disc brakes. You can tell these cars at a glance by their five lug wheel hubs and dual exhaust pipes. The 4 cylinder EX models come with front disc and rear drum brakes standard, but if they are equipped with antilock brakes (ABS) then they come with four wheel disc brakes.

be sure to purcahse the tool to "screw" the caliper piston in. If you try to push the piston in on rear disc brakes you will damange the caliper.
Four-wheel disc brakes were introduced in 1965 on the Corvette. Some AMC vehicles had Disc Brakes, and the Studebaker Avanti also had Disc Brakes. I know of no other American vehicles in 1965 with disc brakes. FYI, the 1948 Tucker had Disc Brakes as standard equipment. Only 51 examples were ever made.
YES
Most modern cars have disc brakes on the front wheels, and some have disc brakes on all four wheels. This is the part of the brake system that does the actual work of stopping the car.The disc brake is a lot like the brakes on a bicycle. Bicycle brakes have a caliper, which squeezes the brake pads against the wheel. In a disc brake, the brake pads squeeze the rotor instead of the wheel, and the force is transmitted hydraulically instead of through a cable. Friction between the pads and the disc slows the disc down.Vented disc brakes have a set of vanes, between the two sides of the disc, that pumps air through the disc to provide cooling.
It either has Front disc and rear drum brakes; or four wheel disc brakes. Both were available, depending on model. Anti-lock brakes were also an available option.
