it is the blend door in the duct system
It is in the air duct hose coming from the air filter box and going to the throttle plate housing. It is up by the air filter box and poped into the air duct hose.
Duct tape works every time
It is the bottom sensor on the right side of the throttle plate housing. That is the part that all the duct work comes from the air filter box and hooks to the engine is.
Check for the Manifold Abosolute Pressure (MAP) on top of the intake manifold. In the 5.7 engine it is located right behind trottle body. You have to remove all the intake air duct to get to it. Good luck, Tizo
reducing trunkline system with duct liner and acoustic flex duct to minimize noise.
if you have enough of it then yea, it shouldwork
A vibration noise in an air return duct can be caused by loose or unsecured ductwork, a clogged air filter restricting airflow, a malfunctioning blower motor, or debris inside the ducts. Inspecting and addressing these potential issues can help resolve the vibration noise.
The clicking noises are caused by the duct-work under the floor. When hot or cool air is run through them, the duct-work will either expand or contract with the temperature change, making clicking noises at the joints to adjust for the expansion/contraction. The other possibility is there is a loose floorboard where a nail missed the joist, and the floor creaks when you walk on it.
The IAT ( Idle air tempture sensor) is part of the mass air flow sensor, It is in the air intake hose coming from the air filter box to the engine. It is up close to the filter box but in the air duct line.
The aspect ratio of a duct can be evaluated as the ratio of width to height. As the aspect ratio increases, vibration noise, friction and cost also increases.
Cowboy boots do not make noise when you are walking on loose sandy soil, which is what they are designed for. Walking on a hard surface they will always make noise, nothing can be done about this.
