Cylinder head bolt specs are 44 ft lbs +95 degrees.for NEW bolts only.DO NOT reuse bolts or you will not get the clamp load.and you will be doing the job again sooner than you want.I will try to explain the sequence since I cannot figure out how to add a gif file picture to help you. With the head installed you will have an outside edge(towards the outer edge of the engine , spark plug side.)and an inner edge(towards the middle of the engine or pushrod side.)As you look at the head from the outer side,l to r we'll number the bottom row of bolts 7,1,4,6.and the top row 5,3,2,8.draw a picture if you need to.tighten them in order of their number.basically criss-crossing them in an outward pattern.this applies to both heads as viewed from the outside edge.Hope this isn't too complicated.Good luck and don't forget to clean them well and thoroughly check for cracks!
