You can simply unplug the Negative Terminal of the battery for 1 minute and place it back on and your trouble code is GONE.
Since you ran out of fuel...you may want to replace your fuel filter because crud from the bottom of your fuel tank may have gotten into the Filter.
I recommend either Factory replacement filter or Purolator only.
