I just took my apart an hour ago. You must crimpd down on the little white plastic pieces that stick out of the black rubber connection. You will see when you get them apart they are shaped like 2 -winged sleeves and stay with the steel tubing. As you press them down, with pliers, or a handled c-clamping device, pull back on the black rubber connection. Once I figured it out the 2 ends slipped right off.

What type of plastic is rubber?

Plastic is a synthetic material made from a wide range of organic polymers such as polyethylene, PVC, nylon, etc., that can be molded into shape while soft and then set into a rigid or slightly elastic form. It is made by vulcanizing natural rubber with a high percentage of sulfur.

Rubber, plastic, and wood are all materials that are non-conductive and can effectively block electricity from flowing through them. This property makes them useful for insulating electrical wires and preventing electrical shocks.

What are the best examples of non-metal that are non-conductors of electricity?

Some examples of non-metals that are non-conductors of electricity include sulfur, phosphorus, and iodine. These elements have high electronegativity and their outer electron shells are usually filled, which makes them poor conductors of electricity.
