Yeah, why not.
No. A "all wheel drive" is all the time four wheel drive. A 4x4 or 4-wheel drive can be set to drive in two wheel drive or four wheel drive.
It isn't feasible to convert from two wheel drive to four wheel drive.
Check out the link in the Reated Links section, below. It has a list of parts required.
Do you think 2 wheel drive is better then 4? Of course 2 wheel drive in better then one...
By selling it and buying a 4wd. Trying to convert a 2wd to 4wd can be done but the cost is far greater than just selling this one and buying a 4wd.
Sell this truck and buy a 4 WD. You will be money and time ahead. To convert one is a daunting task that would be cost prohibitive unless you have a donor vehicle. Even then it can be expensive. Just sell this truck and buy another one.
The transmission has nothing to do with the 4wd system and there is nothing to convert. Just install the transmission and you will be good to go if you have the right transmission.
depends if its two or four wheel drive. One if two wheel, two if four wheel
Both wheels drive through a differential in the transmission.
Never! :) No seriously - why would you consider that? Just get a two wheel drive car!
Yes and no, you would need to have a two wheel drive rear drive shaft.
