That would be Chevy or GMC with there Duramax and Allison hook up which has almost 400 horse power.

Yeah. We all appreciate me writing all that information and then you delete it. It's really appreciated. And Chevy/GMC are beat now. If you're not aware, Ford updated software in the 6.7L Powerstroke Diesel V8 and it now makes 400 horsepower and 800 pound feet of torque. Yeah, 3 hp more than Duramax and 35 pound feet of torque more. And the 3rd crossmember in the frame was strengthened so the F-350 DRW can now tow 22,600 pounds, compared to GM's 21,700 pounds. Your all beat and you just have to admit it.
Has GM actually tested their diesels? NO. Ford tested their new 6.7L in the real world for a little over 250,000 miles. And the truck still ran great when it was all over. Yeah sure, they had some problems but nothing major. There is no vehicle that's gonna go almost 300,000 miles with no problems. And Ford had the GUTS to admit it had problems. They tested the 6.7L on a dynomometer for over 10,000,000 miles and had an injector fail at 892,625 miles. That's it. Ford guarantees the customer at least 250,000 miles with this new 6.7L. And you are not suppose to service the new 6-speed transmission until 150,000 miles.
And Ford's C-Channel frame in the Super Duty puts GM's new fully boxed frame to shame. A fully boxed system is not necessary on an HD truck. You just have to have a C-Channel that's HYDROFORMED and STRENGTHENED. There is a reason it's called "Built Ford Tough." Now you little GM fanboys get off of my turf. :D I know I might sound like a Ford fanboy, but they are the best trucks and I can't help it! I am an experienced mechanic for over 10 years and I can tell you, Ford is definetly doing everything right. Have a good day and hopefully (lol) you learned something today. Bye, bye GM fanboys.
The best dually diesel pickup truck would be Chevy or GMC 3500 with Duramax and Allison transmission.
The Allison 1000 which is mated with the Duramax diesel
It depends where one looks but a frequently recommended truck for diesel truck pulls is the Ford diesel truck but does cost nearly $60,000. Also recommended are the GMC diesel truck and the Dodge diesel truck.
Dodge. Straight up.
The best all around truck is the Ford Powerstroke, lots of power, handles good and has good gas milage for a diesel.
Amsoil synthetic oil seems to be your best bet for oil for your diesel truck. It helps to prevent oil from becoming foamy and it works in even very hot environments.
Considering that a diesel pickup truck can't use gas I would say that there aren't any diesel trucks that get good gas mileage. If you were wondering which diesel truck gets the highest miles per gallon then I would say you should look at the Dodge Cummins diesel.
The best way to find out the gas mileage on your diesel truck would be to go to the popularmechanics.com website. I don't know which year, make or model this particular truck is therefore the mileage would depend.
The advantage of a diesel truck is that diesel burns more efficiently than regular gasoline. However, parts and service for a diesel truck are sometimes higher.
The best mileage for a three quater ton diesel pickup truck is 15 mph. It will only change if you going on a stopping trip and you don't use a highway on a long trip.
Diesel trucks are sold from numerous companies, but the best company that you can purchase a diesel truck from would probably have to be Ford, due to their price.
miles/gallons in tank= milage
