As a Small town retail store owner, we have had good luck with the Triangle trailer tire. It might not last as long as a Goodyear Marathon but for the money its a good buy.
triangle tire is an entry level tire... it might not has the same quality as Michemin, but for the money purposes, using the triangle is not a bad idea. also, as a tire resaler, i can tell you that trangle tires are actually using the same technonolgy as michelin.....
If you have a cosco membership, this is a good place to start. If you do not, tire warehouse is fairly cheep. You pay more depending on the qualtiy of the tire and whether or not you want summer, winter, or all seasons.
If you are having a snowy winter and need traction for tires, a good idea is to use tire chains and it would work.

The very best reviewed snow tire is the Michelin X-Ice Xi2 but it is expensive. The very best budget snow tire is the General Altimax Arctic and is just as good but noisier and rides a little rougher.
