It turned out to be the alternator going bad. Replaced alternator. No more growling.
It sounds like you have more probalem than wheel bearing. TAke it to a front end shop
The fuse for the blinker of a 96 Cavalier should be in the fuse box inside of the car. A more likely cause would be the flasher, located under the drivers side of the dash.

I have a knocking noise near the water pump pully or idler arm pully on my 94 chevy cavalier 2.2 motor when its at idle, if i give it more gas the noise will go away do you know what this could be? i took off the tension idle pully and checked the bearing and it was fine.

Yes, they are located pretty close to one another under the driver's side of the dash. They look similar, but one is used for the hazard lights and one is for the turn signals.
You need 4 quarter or 1 gallon of oil, no more.
More than likely the Flasher Relay is bad.
