1) a signal flasher and a 2) 4-way signal flasher
If it is a front flasher (a.k.a. signal lamp) there should be a way for it to pop out from the mounting bracket it is attached to. turn it either clockwise or counter clockwise and the signal should come right out. the light in the socket should be the same or you can pull it out. The rear signals require to removing of two screws; the entire casing for the light will come out. Then you treat it as a front signal and follow the same steps.
you have a light out that way it signal fast
The turn signal flasher is integrated with the 4 way flasher switch located on the dash.
There are 2 flasher relays mounted in the same location. Both are located under the dash on the driver's side mounted on the passenger side of the steering column.
check the flasher, your 4 way flasher is different then your turn signal flasher, they both should be under the dash on the left side, they both look same, check your manual,it's about a $2-3 item
Your car uses a flasher which has 2 prongs and just unplugs. They are identical to the 4 way flasher in your fuse box but the turn signal flasher is usually located on or near the steering column under the dash.
Turn Signal flasher is located in the fuse box on the left side of the dash. There should be two round flasher units. The top one is the four way flasher and below is the turn signal flasher.
The signal/four way flasher relay is mounted beside the fuse panel. The four way flasher is incorporated in the signal/wiper switch. Dust can accumulate in the four way flasher switch and then stop working, use a contact cleaner spray and the switch start working again.
I own an 89, so they should be set up the same. There are two separate flashers for the 4ways and turn signals. The 4way flasher shoud be clipped under the dash on the driver side and the turn signal flasher is plugged in under the dash on the firewall, also on the driver side.
Signal flasher is located behind the panel left of the ashtray. Panel has to come off and you will see the signal flasher and the four way flasher.
RV manufacturers usually locate the flasher under the dash near the steering column. The easiest way to find it is to turn on the turn signal and listen for the click. You will also feel it click when you touch it. If the flasher is not working or does not click, turn on the four-way flashers and try to find that flasher. The turn signal flasher is usually located near it. Hope this helps.
