The dome light switch on ALL ford trucks before, and some after 2000, is in the headlight switch. Simply turn the knob to the left, it should feel like, well, a switch. This is the same for my 76 pickup, and my 93. It is the same in my dads 89 f250, and was the same in his 97 f250. Note: when you turn the knob to the right, it dims the dash lights.
