if you figure this out please call me i had the heads resurfaced and gaskets replaced and the same thing is happening to my f250 6.8l v10 1999 8317068926
valve cover gaskets
Sounds like the coil. The high side of the coil should be 35~70 kilo volts. 11 volts will not jump the spark gap. http://www.marksatterfield.com
I was not aware that headgaskets were repairable. I have always replaced them with new gaskets. If you mean who replaces headgaskets, then that would be an engine mechanic.
i had to have my gaskets replaced ... ive heard the 3100 are known for being made with plastics gaskets ... idk
Head gaskets can't be repaired. If they fail they have to be replaced.
I recently had the same problem, the local Jaguar dealer, repaired Valve cover gaskets replaced. Oil leaked into the cylinders had to replace coils, plug, gasket, and few others parts. Over $2500 repair
have you had the head gaskets replaced you might have blown head gaskets or warped heads on the block this is a costly repair check your water for oil or check your oil for water this will help to determin if they are ... have you had the head gaskets replaced you might have blown head gaskets or warped heads on the block this is a costly repair check your water for oil or check your oil for water this will help to determin if they are ...
Sounds like something was droped into the engine. I would also like to know why you changed the intake gasket. If it was leaking water/ engine coolant into the cylinders then you may have damaged / broke a piston are bent a rod. Water will not compress.
if its leaking from the head gaskets. The gaskets need to be replaced. If you dont have the proper tools it is going to be a huge pain. If leak continues try tightening the bolts around the headers and sparkplugs
No, they can be replaced with the engine in the vehicle, but it is not an easy repair.
Rocker cover gaskets need to be replaced.
