my 99 2.5L I4 hit 116,000 miles with no major repair yet. My brother in laws' 2000 I4 has even more miles with no major repair either. Just change oil every 3000 and stay on top of all fluids, filters, hoses, and belts. definitely check the timing belt before you buy (if that is the nature of your inquiry).
