check your break fluid.
On a 1998 Ford Explorer : Would you mean the air bag ( Supplemental Restraint System , SRS ) warning light in the bottom area of your tachometer
If the warn. light in question is the 'check engine' light, this means there is a problem with the vehicle's ergonomic system, such as an oxygen sensor, etc.
How do you reset the Airbag warning light on a 1995 Toyota Avalon?
If you changed your brakes lately, you couldve forgot to put the rattle clips back on, or there could be air in your brake line, try bleeding your brakes. On my 1998 Explorer Limited, I had the same prob., i.e. my emer. brk. warn light had a mind of it's own. My prob. was simply the light indicator switch, located under the brake pedal. Replaced switch, problem resolved. Easy, Breezy, Beautiful. Hope this helps. the emerg break cable may need to be adjusted from under the car it coud be loose and causing your e break pedal from fully retracting when you when you pull the break release. to check it pull the break release while holding the e break pedal up and see if it goes out if it does then the cable needs adjusted
orange triangle with letter "A" for 1998 volvo
On a 1998 Ford Explorer ( like my 1995 ) Either your engine coolant temperature is too high , your engine oil pressure is too low , or your fuel gauge is at or near empty ( any of those 3 things will turn on the " check gage " warning light )
The light next to the battery warning light is the fuel injection system warning light. If it comes on and goes off after a short while it should be ok but if it stays on for longer than 5-10 minutes then get it checked out.
You need to take your car into a service center to get the warning light turned off. The light is on because there is a problem about system.
Cut the wire
