Your F-350 7.3 may be because the spark plugs may be bad, the ignition coil connections may be loose, the ignition rotor may be scarred, the timing may be off, or the fuel filter or fuel injectors may be clogged.

replace fuel pump regulator. cost, about $7.00 or, hit gas tank with a rubber mallot and try to start. are you getting gas? are you getting spark? you could have a fuel pump problem...buy turning the car key to the on possition having the door open and listen under the vehicke...if you hear a buzzing sound each time your turn the key to on...then check for spark...you could also have a problem with the inertia switch.

I had a similar problem with my 89 pickup and found out it was in my fuel system. my buddy had a similar problem and it was his distributor cap and wires. try turning it over and holding the accelerater down at the same time. if it fires up you should check your fuel filter or pump. that usually means your not getting enough gas.
