Does the engine crank over?
The starter is at the rear of the engine and bolts to the flywheel housing. There is a cover over it making it hard to see.
It could be that the battery is dead or your starter is bad.
remove battery , and u will see starter just to left on top of transmission. unplug wire and unbolt 12mm not that holds other wire. then remove 2 ,14mm bolts and starter will come free
Sounds like you need a new starter!
The starter is burning.
It is screewed into the engine block over by the starter, When you remove it antifreeze will run all over the place so be fast about it and make sure engine is cold.
you have two systems that turn over a motor it could be your battery but it sounds like the starter or something in that system like the silinoid or starter relay or it could be just a loose or damaged wire.
If it turns over sluggishly - could be a bad starter If it turns over normally - fueld could be atomizing too early (Vapor lock)
If it turns over slowly it can still be the battery or, less likely, the starter. If its turn over is lively it's probably in the electrical system, maybe the computer.
There are two terminals on the starter, the main power terminal and the solenoid terminal. Sometimes the nuts on these terminals will vibrate loose over time and the wires from the two terminals will touch. This is what normally causes this condition.
That's insufficient information. In general, "crank over" means that the starter is not turning the engine when you put the keyswitch to the "start" position. The starter can fail to engage because of a failed starter, solenoid, keyswitch, neutral lockout switch, faulty battery, failed alternator or just about anything that would drain the battery.
