this is a quote from IATA the airline regulatory body, but allways check your specific airline Cabin Baggage Carry-on baggage must be stowed in the aircraft cabin which limits baggage to a size, weight and shape to fit under a passenger seat or in a storage compartment. Cabin baggage should have maximum length of 22 in (56 cm), width of 18 in (45 cm) and depth of 10 in (25 cm). These dimensions include wheels, handles, side pockets, etc. Carry-on items must remain with the passenger at all times and are the responsibility of the passenger. === ===
well on agust 16th im going to Orlando Florida of 2010 fyi, but what im taking as a carry on is a sweater because in the airport it is very cold and on the plane to even though they give out blankets those kind don't always help if you have a mp3 , iPod ect always bring it with movies because airplane movies also are repeats of what you have already seen and the headphones you have to pay for on a plane so always have your own pair your cell phone is also needed but you must have it on airplane mode because with out it it can be bad for the plane im also taking my dsi for entertainment and im taking three chargers one for my cell phone one for my dsi and one for my iPod touch because in the airports they have this new thing its a big pole that has outlets on it that you can charge anything on it and im taking my wallet with about 20 or more dollars because airport food is expensive and you can bring your own food from ome on to the plane and eat in there but no drinks are aloud for safety reasons
not in carry on baggage, but you can in checked baggage
You cannot carry-on an axe, but you can in your checked baggage.
Only in checked baggage; you cannot have them in a carry-on.
Liquids, gels and aerosols are limited to 3 ozs per container as CARRY ON baggage. Hairspray can go in checked baggage
According to the TSA website (TSA.gov) lighters are permitted under special circumstances. You can bring a lighter on in your CARRY-ON baggage. Lighters that are unfilled/unfueled are allowed in your CHECKED baggage, but filled/fueled are not allowed unless in a special case (this is because prefilled lighters, such as a bic, can explode in the unpressurized underbelly of the plane, while the cabin is pressurized, which would prevent rupture).
