Engine failure, spotaneous combustion, terrorists, failure to pressurize, cabin collapse, guy beside you snores, wings fall off, one wing falls off, pilot has heart attack, co-pilot has heat attack, they mix up you drick order, you get Tylenol when you asked for alieve, you discover you have boarded the wrong flight, no parachutes, your seat doesn't actually function as a floatation device, oxygen mask doesn't deploy, that "one" guy didn't see the no smoking sign. Lots can go wrong but chances are that they wont.

How do you measure the force for a plane?

The force acting on a plane can be measured by instruments called strain gauges, which detect the deformation (strain) in the plane's structure caused by applied forces. These measurements can be used to calculate the force applied to the plane in various directions. Flight data recorders and load cells are also used to measure forces on a plane during flight and while on the ground.
