fly into from Chicago just because there's that many more flights so we flew into Boston just one hour north of Providence Rhode Island picked up our rental car and drove down the problem I want to mention that the first 5 days of this itinerary we actually had a rental car since we're going to be doing more city exploration we were going to be just constantly moving from place to place and not as much camping so that also meant we were an Airbnb is the first couple nights so after we got a rental car we drove down to Providence Rhode Island which. So I guess it is a one hour drive roughly depending on traffic and we checked into our Airbnb and decided let's go explore all of Providence's downtown for the rest of the night the good news about Providence Rhode Island is it's a very walkable city there's a lot of pedestrian paths and there's a lot of things to see it's a big college towns we walked from Brown University and then checked out a really good taco spot that was recommended by our Airbnb host and it was delicious it was fast so we can get back to walking around the city so that evening we would walk roughly 3 or 4 miles around the city and got to know some of the areas some of the different districts just to get a better idea of what we wanted to do for the rest of the weekend since this was going to be our first weekend on the road trip and secondly the road trip we explore more of Providence Rhode Island where we went downtown checked out the capitol building we checked out some of the local national park areas downtown as well as checked out more of the food scene because Providence has really good food in their downtown so it was great to just walk around get to know the city probably walk maybe 7 or 8 miles before finishing up our day and I must mention that you want to catch a sunset in Providence the way the city lights up in the evening is really a magical experience as you can see from this flipped it literally looks like it's straight out of a movie the city really lights up with golden colors and the distance to find yourself a great spot to enjoy a meal in the evening and then walk around right by the river where you can see a nice Sunday number 3 of the road trip we make our way down to Newport Rhode Island it's roughly a 50 minute drive to get over to Newport Rhode Island it's a really short drive as you know Rhode Island is a small state so you can get from place to place quite easily so the first thing we did in Newport Rhode Island was we did probably the most famous thing which is cruise down the 10 mile drive wrote it's a road where you can see mansions right along the coast you can stop by the beach and you can also go to fort Adams state park and explore one of the old works there so there's really a lot you can do along that route and considered a pretty efficient out of time so

For the flight reservations you can book your tickets with above toll-free number, for the new reservations, changes and cancellations. islands you can see in the distance it's great for sunrises sunsets you name it it's a beautiful and photogenic place to explore to spend the whole day really getting to know the place is a cool downtown to walk around and check out some of the gift shop check out some of the great restaurants they have there and make sure to eat a lobster that first night I ate my first 2 pound lobster and while it did not disappoint and I personally don't like seafood that much but if you're here in bar harbor Maine or anywhere in New England you need to make sure you're capitalizing on this opportunity to have some of the best seafood in the country leading into day number 15 get ready to wake up bright and early and by brain early I'm talking about an hour point 5 2:00 hours before the sun rises to hike to what the locals recommend as 1 of the best places to see sunrise in the Acadia bar but area sometimes a transitional bar harbor but it's but if you want to be a local yes so make sure you're up bright and early at mount Champlain you're gonna want to bring 1 of those headlamps because it is a huge black nobody's out at that hour and you gotta be careful because you're walking up the mountain and so not a huge mountain but definitely a lot of incline you wanna watch your step there's a lot of rocks things like that even with a headlamp I think we all trust a few times in a way of putting it is so worth it when you get to the top you can see all of bar harbor you can see Acadia national park you can see all the islands in the distance a really really beautiful spot we don't even get to see the sun rise fully but we were still so thrilled with what we could see there's a lot of cloud covering but the sun broke through for a little bit and give us a nice little peek of how beautiful this area is if you still have some energy in you after doing the sunrise hike you want to do the ocean path trail in Acadia national park. There's not too much elevation there it's basically just a pathway that leads all along the ocean you have great views of Acadia national park you can see the ocean you can see both come in by a really great spot to do more of a family hike there and just maybe walk across the rocks if you want to as well I will say there are so many things to do in Acadia national park so much hiking and you have a lot of options we chose those too because it just made sense for the amount of work you want to put into it the amount of time we had and we really enjoyed it but just know there are a lot of options in Acadia national park so you're probably quite exhausted after having a full day..
