You can - but - remember to declare them on your incoming passenger card. Some countries don't allow people to take nuts (whether raw or roasted) in. If you declare them, they'll simply be confiscated and destroyed. If you fail to declare them, they'll still be confiscated and destroyed - but - you'll probably be fined ! Australia (for example) will fine you $220 AUD for not declaring food.
