The Pyramids are so amazing for many reasons. One of these reasons is the way it was built and its structure from inside (mazes) that up till nowadays by technology we cant exactly trace the mazes inside (the pyramids are tombsfor the kings and royal family, and because ancient Egyptians believed in "the other life" waking up after death to find a better life, they used to put their gold and jewelary and even food next to their bodies, so that when they wake up from death they can find there own things again) so they built the pyramids from inside in a maze like structure so that no one can steal them, infact many skellatons of probably robbers have been found in corners of mazes, the theives never knew their way out so they starved to death. Secondly we still wonder how these HUGE sized bricks were brought to Giza (north), when these type of Bricks are only present in Luxor which is deep south of Egypt. Thirdly, it was the greatest business deal ever made in the history of Egypt... at that time of first building the pyramid there was a redundancy crisis, and so the King decided to build the pyramid and help people work (they werent enslaved as people say) they were given wages for building the pyramids, and the pyramids took about twenty to thirty years to be built!
It proves the ancients had far more advanced technology than we give them credit for. They used to be covered in limestone, and perhaps decorated with various pagan symbols and murals. The limestone was defaced for building materials, as well as for religious purposes. Christians have never been the most accepting people.
