Probably not. Many stereo systems are not capable of reading CD-R or CD-RW discs (burned CDs). You might need to consult the manual for your stereo to be absolutely certain.
adjustments and audio settings
This depends on your headunit, most factory head units in older cars will not, many aftermarket and newer car headunits will play burned cd's
I do not believe it is. I know the stock stereo from the 2006 Mazda 3 does not support mp3 cds.
The CD player should be in the stereo, if you bought the car used it may not have come with option. The CD changer option would be located below the stereo
You need a car stereo that it will connect to.
There are plenty of car CD players that will do that. Look for MP3/WMV text on the corners of the CD player.
I have the CD, but how do I reset my eclipse 5342 CD car stereo after power loss?
car, stereo, computer, DVD player
The 5960 is compatible.
You may have burned it in the wrong format which your cd-player may not be able to play. You could have also burned it on a type of disk that your cd-player is unable to read for example lets say your cd-player only plays CD-R and you are using a CD+R
Cross check the stereo's wiring and size specifications with the stereo information from the car's manual and/or the manufacturer. This is to ensure that the stereo and the car are compatible. Also, make sure that the stereo has the features you want. Some stereos only have CD inputs; some stereos have an auxiliary input that is mainly targeted at MP3 players.
