It's is science but it's not accurate because physical aspects are not the only things to be considered in the division of territories. Certain issues such as cultural, historical and even political aspects need to be considered. Geography is not 100% scientifically accurate.

Geography is considered a social science because it studies the relationship between people and their environment. It examines how societies interact with and shape their surroundings, including how cultures, economies, and politics are influenced by geographic factors such as location, climate, and resources. Geographers analyze the spatial distribution of human activities and study the impact of human behavior on the physical landscape.

I'm not quite shore what you're asking.

Science is hard to define as it is a study of many areas through experimentation. Social science is the study of people and people, usually defined into psychology and sociology. Hypothesise within Social Sciences are also subject to experimentation.

Some believe that social sciences are not 'real' sciences.

'real' sciences are considered to contain chemistry, Biology, physics, maths and Earth Sciences. 'real' sciences are also said to have a greater certainty as variables are more easily controlled than those in social science.
