Shutdown -1 is not a correct command for shutting down. Open a command line... Start >> Run... >> cmd >> ENTER Then type: shutdown /h (shutdown) shutdown /r (restart) shutdown /l (log off) shutdown /? (more info on shutdown)
Maybe you are accidentally pressing restart instead of shutdown because they are right next to each other

You need it to Force Shutdown. Just press the On button and hold it for long time. It will force to shutdown the PC.
the problem is ram and fan 1 if fan not working when your PC overheat it shutdown automatically 2 if ram is damaged or broke it shutdown automatically
reinstall PC suite ... it might hv not been installed properly
This question only applies to a Windows PC. To turn off your Windows PC, click the start button on you taskbar. Then, Move your mouse over to the button that says shutdown, or if there is an arrow (in Windows Vista and 7) click on that and then click shutdown. Your computer will then close all your programs and then shutdown!

Shutdown over Network... You can simply go to the computer on the network through the command prompt and type: Shutdown -s This will turn your computer off in 60 seconds to stop this just type: Shutdown -a There are many more options to the Shutdown command.
