They aren't. Cattle actually exploit us because they make us work to keep them well fed, sheltered, watered and healthy. They have it pretty good compared to what many others think. And in turn they give back to us what we have been raising them for: meat, milk, more cattle, and manure.
Cattle ranching is big business in Brazil because beef is a very popular food. Brazil and Argentina have large pasture areas that are very good for raising beef cattle.
Pampas is a significant area where there are no trees. A good sentence would be, the pampas was so boring that traveling made all of the kids fall sound asleep.
The Pampas in Argentina is a good example of this.
Raising beef cattle is simply raising cattle for their meat. The meat is the end product of raising these animals, either in the feedlot, on pasture or a mix of each. There are several sectors to raising beef cattle: seedstock cow-calf, commercial cow-calf, background/stocker, and feedlot. Not all beef cattle require daily supplementation of grains. Many beef cattle can be raised on pasture without supplementation, except for salt and minerals. It takes less effort to raise beef cattle than dairy cattle. As long as they have good pasture, water, salt and minerals they're just fine. No need for milking twice a day, cleaning out stalls or having to herd them into a barn every night. It's not easy, and not for everyone. It does have its hard, hands-on real dirty work that many people shy away from. You need to manage your operation to be as low-cost as possible. This is often easier for the cow-calf guys to do than the feedlot or most of the backgrounders to do.
Most of the land in Australia is unsuitable for growing crops; its best and very ideal for raising cattle and sheep in because of the ability to graze them all year round and the good grass that grows well.
Cattle ranching is good for both the environment as well as the animals. The cattle graze on the land and eat down the grass. While eating down the grasses they are diminishing the fuel for a grass fire or a wild fire to start. They are also eating to feed them selves. Grazing is better for cattle than feed lots, because there is more room for viruses to get away. In feed lots viruses can spread faster, and effect more cattle. While they eat they grow. They grow to feed us, and that's where you get grade A beef is, from the cattle who aren't raised close together. I guess you could say good meat comes from happy cows.
If you think raising taxes and forcing ALL doctors to preform abortions which is just killing.
Experience is the best education that a newbie or rookie cow-farmer can have. But an education in raising cattle from a college or university can't be something that isn't good to have either.
All the aspects of the trans sahara trade are sahara had rich deposits of salt. in the savannah, crops grew well. the savannah was also good for raising cattle
