some people think euthanasia is like "putting people to sleep" and doctors are playing god. some people think it's as bad as killing someone. some people think it should be allowed because it "puts people out of misery" like someone who is suffering from a painful disease or some misfortune of life and wants to die. it's as big a controversial topic as abortion.
Euthanasia should be allowed in presence of a high ranked police officer or a Gazetted officer who is not related to the person. And who will not in anyway gain monetary benefits, like inheriting something.
One reason is because there is a fear that someone could be euthanised without their consent. This would in fact be murder. Someone who is in a comma for example, might not want to die if they had a say in it. But if someone else made the decision for them, and they could not talk, then that is the concern.
Euthanasia against the patients' will is illegal worldwide. Physician-assisted-death, where the patient self-administers the lethal medication, is only legal in certain countries and the states of Montana, Oregon, and Washington. The debate over euthanasia stems from whether it's morally right to allow people to kill themselves to end their suffering from fatal and/or painful illnesses. Most doctors probably consider euthanasia wrong, though some might argue that it's the patients right to decide whether to suffer or to end their own lives.
1 It is the person.s right to choose to die with dignity and in comfort.
You have every right to disagree. But on medical practicalities, such as whether a wound needs more stitches or not, who knows more?
I didn't know anyone in their right mind would disagree with it.
when people disagree with my ideas i usally go in a right way with a motive that i should show the that i was right with my ideas.i undergo the matter deeply and search why people are not agreeing with my ideas .iafter anyalizing my ideas if i am right then i clearly show them them facts that my idea was right.
No, and that's why it shouldn't be performed. Only dangerous animals (such as bears who have entered people's houses) need euthanasia (the bear could return and do serious harm to residents). People think that euthanasia is better than natural death, but they have no proof that the prophets or God has ever said it. The truth is, people got the idea of euthanasia from their thoughts, and not from any logical source. I guess that people just want an excuse to kill, or get rid of so-called 'beloved pets'. I hope animal euthanasia will end some day. 0-:)
It should be every ones privilege to be able to CHOOSE whether or not to utilize this method - the government has no ethical right to meddle in someone's private life decision.

Medically, when there is "no hope of improvement", people talk more about right to live versus euthanasia. Additionally, people cite "quality of life" as a reason an ill person should have a right to choose euthanasia, especially over suicide. Negative quality of life (QA) can include so many conditions, such as chronic severe pain, to illnesses such as Lou Gerigh's -- and others-- that it is impossible to list them all here. Every person must decide what his or her own QA is during illness or disability. Two people with the exact same illness, same living conditions, same family or social supports, and same financial or other supports could each disagree about what QA means and whether each wants to live or die. Beliefs, personality, coping skills, ability to endure and to hope all enter into people's thinking and discussions about euthanasia. Just as one person may declare, "I don't want to live on a ventilator!" another person may defiantly declare, "If a ventilator keeps me alive, I still have a life!" Other people decide to commit manslaughter or murder using the argument that they were helping patients using euthanasia. Nurses who have done these acts are called, "Angels of Death" as a juxataposition to how nurses are historically viewed as "Angels of health, hope, and comfort" despite how bad a patient's condition must be. There are only a couple states that allow euthanasia, Oregon being one. In all other incidents, the person doing euthanasia has been prosecuted and found guilty of manslaughter or murder. Unfortunately, as long as suffering and pain enter the lives of human beings, the debates about euthanasia and suicide will continue.
Some people recognize an individual's right to control their own death when their life becomes too hard to bear.
should agree: 1.because of freedom of choice (i.e one has the right to decide if he wants to live or not) 2. to relieve the suffering one from the unbearable pain he is suffering 3.frees up medical funds to help other people should not agree: 1. Hippocratic oath (doctors swear that they will save life & not to take life) 2.pain management
The freedom of political speech is an implied right, in the Australian constitution.
