GO LOOK IT UP YOURSELVES! DONT RELY ON THE internet TO GIVE YOU ALL OF THE ANSWERS! Jesus Christ I THOUGHT THAT YOU PEOPLE WERE SMART THESE DAYS! The answer is that the delegates thought that the legislators were being unfair...I think, so i just made this one up.
Yes, Benjamin Franklin did attend the Constitutional Convention.
Congress was given control over trade between the states.
They did this by drafting the tenth amendment which governs the executive power.
The president IS the executive brance. He is the primary componet of it and probably has as much power as he can get from it.
The delegates agreed about the separation of powers because they all wanted the United States to have a system of government different from that of Britain. They did not want power concentrated on any one entity.
they gave him to much power they thought that he would a king
No
Because that would be giving one person to much power THIS IS A DEMOCRACY
The delegates settled on a federal form of government instead of a system in which power was not divided between state and national government because they believed that it provided for a much stronger national government with a chief executive (the president), courts, and taxing powers.
Pretty much none of them. Once someone has the power they are more prone to expand their power than give it up.
Yes Congress has relinquished too much power to the President.
some people think it gave to much power and some thought it did not give enough
the founders and writers of the us constitution did not want to give the president too much power so instead they gave that power to congress for a group of people to decide on not just one person
Yes, Benjamin Franklin did attend the Constitutional Convention.
It would give him more power over the budget than he has. Without it, he has to accept the entire budget bill or else veto all of it. He was given this power during the administration of Bill Clinton, but the Supreme Court ruled that it was unconstitutional and disallowed it. It would take a constitutional amendment to give him this power.
Congress was given control over trade between the states.
So the people of the country could make some decisions for themselves!
