There is no evidence that the shape of the pyramisd has anything other than a functional asthetic purpose. Many mummies have been found in non-pyramid tombs that were just as well preserved as any mummy ever recovered from any pyramid tomb.

The food can stay fresh for so long and won't be able to adapt fungus after being preserved ,now a days everything we get from the market is preserved but the preserved thing can never be healthy enough
