Autistic people can teased in school for the same reasons that anyone different gets teased at school - mob rule, and when you are bullying the child who is different it takes attention away from you. It can also be like other forms of discrimination like racism and homophobia, wider society approves of prejudice so children will act with prejudice too (in this case ableism).
She was not very popular in school but she was a strong girl when demi got teased she would stand up for her but she also got teased but now i bet the people who teased her are ashamed of themselves :) <3

Autism Spectrum Disorder is a neurological condition, autistic people are born autistic - we do not know why people are autistic.
Because people who are considered autistic have to do things others don't have to they have to go to special places in school and sometime don't get any playground time also you are not allowed to leave a autistic child home alone.
When he was younger, he did ballet and the boys teased him for that.
Firstly, it's offensive for you to imply that autistic people are abnormal - autistic people are different to neurotypical people, not less than. A person is born autistic, it is not something that happens to 'normal' people or something that you turn into, you are always autistic.
Maybe he did.
No.
No, not all Autistic children are savants. Many Savants are Autistic, but most Autistic people are as normal as Neurotypical people with no particularly special talents.
No, not all autistic people lack a sense of humour. There is a saying in the autism community: once you've met one autistic person...you've met one autistic person. autistic people are as different and varied as neurotypical people.
Organizing an Autism Awareness group at your school offers several valuable benefits: Promotes Inclusion: It encourages empathy, respect, and understanding among students toward autistic peers. Reduces Stigma: Awareness helps break down harmful stereotypes and misinformation surrounding autism. Supports Affected Students: Creates a safe space where autistic students feel seen, supported, and valued. Educates the School Community: Equips staff and students with the knowledge to better interact with and support individuals with neurodiversity. Fosters Leadership: Empowers students to take initiative, advocate for others, and build a more inclusive environment. Creating such groups can spark meaningful change in school culture and support long-term understanding of neurodiversity. Employers do hire Autistic people, however normally when they do they don't realize that the person is Autistic. There is a lot of prejudice against Autistic people so even in areas where there are discrimination laws in place Autistic people often cannot find work, Autistic people normally have to hide their Autism from employers to avoid facing discrimination.
