Bruce Springsteen wrote the Pointer Sisters' 1979 incendiary hit "Fire," originally intending it for Elvis Presley. Robert Gordon and many others also recorded the song, in addition to Springsteen himself.

As far as I know, it was written and performed by Crazy World of Arthur Brown.

"Its a fire" is sung by Beth Gibbons an English musician.
