The most famous verse of the Bible is found in Exodus 3 verses 13-14. Here Moses asks God his name - the name of the God who sent him to be the leader of the Israelites. God replies "I AM WHO I AM. Tell the Israeilites I AM has sent me to you." The Hebrew for I AM is "Ya Weh". However, in most Bibles, after this verse, the name of God is not uttered as it is deemed to the Jews as too holy. Instead they refer to God as, eg, 'Adonai' which is translated in modern Bibles as 'Lord', but written with a large capital 'L' and small capitals 'ORD'.
Ptolemy II (called Philadelphus, the king of Egypt, 285-247 BC) wished to have a translation of the Jewish law for his famous library in Alexandria. At his request the high priest Eleazar of Jerusalem sent 72 men, 6 from each tribe, to Egypt with a scroll of the Law.

The Kingdom of Scotland has NOT ended!!!! It still exists. It is commonly referred to as Scotland, and is still a legal entity in itself. Two events occurred, #1 ; the union of the crown with England , by the accession of King James (I) of England and (VI) of SCotland. #2; The unions of the parliaments in the early 1700's. Whereby SCotland sent MP's to the Westminster parliament. Scotland retained its own legal system and currency. It is the above two events that might suggest that as a kingdom it ended, but no so!!!!
Well the it depends on how long the travel distance is from England to Australia and where about in Australia is it being sent to !
The word "sent" in French can be translated as "envoyé".
Beecher bibles were a shipment of rifles sent by abolitionist preacher Henry Ward Beecher to anti-slavery settlers in Kansas in the 1850s to help defend themselves against pro-slavery forces in the area. The rifles were disguised as Bibles to avoid detection by pro-slavery supporters.
