Our supreme court justices are Chief Justice Stuart Rabner, Justice Virginia Long, Justice Jaynee LaVecchia, Justice Barry T. Albin, Justice John E. Wallace, Jr., Justice Roberto A. Rivera-Soto, and Justice Helen E. Hoens.

Associate Justice Samuel Alito was born in Trenton, New Jersey, on April 1, 1950. President George W. Bush appointed Alito to succeed retiring Justice Sandra Day O'Connor in 2006.

Associate Justice Antonin Scalia was also born in Trenton, although his family moved to Queens, NY when he was only six years old. President Reagan appointed Justice Scalia to the Supreme Court in 1986, where he is currently Senior Associate Justice.
