Santiago, Tamboril
The Last name Pichardo first came from France and they emigrated to Spain. From Spain two brothers moved to the city of Santiago 2nd Capital of the Dominican Republic, one of the brother married another White female and remained in Santiago, but the other Brother had a relation with a beautiful young Haitian descendant and moved to Tamboril where most of the Pichardo have Mulato color due to the mix of race. The is a far as the Pichardo who emigrated to the Dominican Republic from Spain, but remember the Pichardo Last Name first originated in France and moved to Spain. Some Pichardo also emigrated to Mexico from Spain. PS: In 2004 I traveled to Spain and met some of the Pichardo family and went to the Cathedral of Cadiz where the first Pichardo that came from France were buried in the basement of the Cathedral.
