In organizations which have both ranks, Captain (US O6) is a higher rank than Commander (US O5). However, armies also use the title Captain, except it's a lower pay grade (US O3, equivalent to a naval Lieutenant).
Military rank and organization in Star Wars is pretty convoluted, since in the movies the terms "Admiral" and "General" seem to refer to individuals within the same service (with Admiral being the higher of the two). This does not happen on Earth: Admiral and General are equivalent ranks (US O10) used in different branches of the service.
Wow this is that same guy star wars ain't Real Life you know. Ranks are way further apart than ours Commander in star wars is higher than Captain
The Desert Fox
The Desert Fox was the nickname of the German Field Marshal Erwin Rommel. In WW2 he was the commander of the Nazi forces in North Africa. He gained the nickname because of his quick, clever strategies in often outwitting the Allied forces, although he was defeated in the end.
The "Africa Corps" was the German unit fighting in North Africa under the command of General Rommel, the "Desert Fox." The commander of US tank units opposing Rommel in North Africa was General George Patton.
In July 1939, Gen. Archibald Percival Wavell was named as General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of Middle East Command with the local rank of full general. On 8 August, 1942, General Harold Alexander replaced Gen. Claude Auchinleck as General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of Middle East Command. Gen. Montgomery was a division commander under Gen Alexander.
Erwin Rommel was the "Desert Fox" and commanded the 7th Panzer corp in WWII. He fought a number of Battles against the Allied Forces and won many of them. He was credited as being a great Field Marshall in the German Army and won many medals including the Iron Cross. As good as Rommel was, he was never as good as General George C. Patton who was, and still remains the greatest Tank Commander the world has ever seen.....
Actually, it is Commander Fox, not Captain.Anyway, he is a clone commander in the Republic army.

Commander Cody gets killed by Genral Grevius. It is a part never ever shown in star wars.Obi Wan and Commander Cody went to fight Genral Grevius and Genral Grevius stabs Commander Cody.I found out from Leo Star Wars #1 That can't be canon because Commander Cody gives the order to shoot Obi Wan Kenobi when Order 66 comes in. Plenty of things get taken out, such as Shaak Ti's death in Episode III aboard General Greivous' ship. (I believe her canon death is during The Force Unleashed at the hands of the Apprentice).
Commander Bly, aka CC-5052, is by far better than Commander Fox, aka CC-1010. Mostly because commander Bly is a Clone Marshall Commander, the highest rank a clone trooper may recieve, while Commander Fox only controls the Courscant Guard. Bly Controls and entire Corps, the 327 Star Corps.
you get commander Cody on the rishi moon, but you need seargeant fox and captain rex to unlock the station
Commander Fox never died. Major Zeo: Not yet anyways...
Commander Fox is approximately 1.83 meters tall.
Commander Cody Captain Rex - CW Commander Fox - CW Those are just the three main clones. There are so many clones, that I doubt that we know all their names or their numbers.
