Ireland borders no country. It is, though, split into two distinct countries - Northern Ireland (capital: Belfast) and the Republic of Ireland (capital: Dublin). To the east, across the Irish sea, lies the rest of the United Kingdom (not including Northern Ireland) - England, Scotland, and Wales.
