The 1996 Nissan 240 fuel pump is located on the front side of the fuel tank. You will need to get beneath the vehicle in order to view the fuel pump.
The fuel pump on a 1991 Nissan 240 SX is located back by the fuel tank. It is an in-line pump, in the fuel line that runs from the gas tank to the carburetor. It is about the same size as a large soup can.
There is no problem with the fit. The computer has a different conector but can be made to work.
remove rear compartment floor trim remove greenish colored cover screws remove cover remove screws from pump assy and lift out.
DOT3
The 1995 Nissan 240 emergency brake has an adjustment screw on the brake pad. Turn the adjustment screw to adjust the brake height.
In the gas tank itself
the fuel pump is inside of the gas tank. Remove the carpet in the trunk or hatch and there is a square access panel. remove the four bolts holding it down to expose your fuel sending unit. If your fuel pump isn't working i suggest replacing the sending unit as well. four bolts hold the sending unit in place unclip the wiring harness and unbolt the four bolts and the fuel pump is the cylinder that clips into the bottom of the sending unit.
75/90w
