Many places: south-west of Varrock, south-east of Varrock, the Al Kharid mine, the Rimmington mine, are but some of the places where you can mine it. Look at the RuneScape manual (under "Skills - Mining") for the full list of places. Also, take a look at the minimap, and look for the mining icon (it looks like a pickaxe). However, note that many mining places have iron, but not all of them do.

You can find clay in the mine south west of Varrock (and south east of the barbarian village) or in Enakhras' Mine in the southern parts of Kharidian Desert beyond the bandit camp.
