Also, if you are attending a wedding, Ribbons fit best so you don't upstage the groom, of course that is just my opinion.

How do you align ribbons on navy service uniform?
You use a ribbon bar. These are thin frames of metal or plastic with pins. You slide the ribbons onto the frame work in the correct order and it pins onto the uniform with the standard sort of pin with cover.
