Physical mediums do exist around the world although most sit in private so-called "Home Circles". There are professional mediums offering physical sittings but one should be cautious of them. Many professionals are actually performers who specialize in "performance seances". If this is what is offered, you are going to see a demonstration of what a phsyical seance would be like if it were real. There are others who claim to be real that in fact use the same techniques as the entertainers. And there may be actual physical mediums sitting today, but again, finding them can be very difficult. Just because someone claims to be real does not mean they are.

The most promising modern examples of physical mediumship were the Scole Experiments in England and the currently ongoing Felix Experimental Group in Germany.
