Since the US Department of Labor's Child Labor Laws establish a minimun age of 14 years to be legally employed, there are not many help wanted or job avaibilities in Mobile, Alabama or the United States, in general, for youths as young as 12 years of age. The Alabama State Employment Service might know of any specially funded student work projects, but even those generally limit enrollment to participants who are between the ages of 14-18 years. There's always lemonade and lawns, baby-sitting, pet-walking and similar opportunities available for all enterprising youth.
